Hi there-new to the site, so bear with me. Wondering how many of you have a tougher time managing BP over the holidays. I was diagnosed when I was 18 after a manic episode in which i decided to surprise my friends up in montreal by driving up there during a snow emergency. Didn't tell anyone where I was going-just took off with a batch of caffeine pills in the middle of the night and got in a car accident 3 hours into my trip. Came home to a pseudo-family intervention and I've been medicated ever since (thankfully). While my medication generally helps me, this time of year, remembering that incident and also having all my free time off of work makes my mind wander and I find myself anxious (also have panic disorder) and depressed. The general sentiment I guess is that no matter how much progress I'm making, every year I take a few steps back. Anyone else in the same boat?
