First, i hope you are being treated for your physical pain.
your pain is probably causing most of your depression.
you left a very short blog. i dont think you have bipolar,
But if you cant get out of bed, even with the pain,
you know , if your legs arent in pain, to walk out of bed
then your depression isnt good. maybe you could tell
your doctor youre just too depressed. if he doesnt do
anything, i d go to the hospital.
My daughter was treated for depression for about a year before she is diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Just like you she has pains, some without a known cause. Other symtoms are hopelessness, fatigue, anxiety, and irritability. Within the last months, she has racing thoughts, agitation, more aggressive/risky behavior (new medications also).
Her new therapist (dialectical behavior therapy) suggests that she should see a neurology. Lots of things can look like bipolar-epilepsy, asperger's syndrome, thyroid disease, and possibly more.
If your depression is getting worst, something is not working. Some antidepressants don't work for bipolar depression.
Good luck,
