Q: My mother sees worms everywhere and they are not there is this related to bipolar disorder?

My mother claims to see them on her shower head, crawling on the floor, on her food, and even digging a hole around her arm area.  I am really concerned could this be related to bipolar disorder?

Your mother definitely don't have bipolar disorder, but she could be schizophrenic.  The best way to find out is to get her to a psychiastrist as soon as possible. She need treatment because it can become worse.  There are medications available that can treat her and help her to be normal again.
