My mother was bipolar, my child's father is manic-depressive, and I suffer mild mood issues as well. While I was pregnant, I fell in a dark depression and was put on medication, my child is healthy, happy and perfect.. From the research I have done, they say, your child will have a 1 in 4 chance of having some sort of hereitary mood issue. Don't worry and just focus on being healthy, your baby will be fine.
