I have been in a low for a while, but have started feeling almost flu like symptoms that don't have a fever to indicate that something is wrong.  I know that depression can manifest physical pain, but how?

This is a response, not really a question---I have the same problem right now and it seems like it keeps coming back like every 2 weeks...along with the depression. If you find an answer please email me so I can know too. Thanks

Married with 2 children (3 and 15 years old). Bipolar 1 disorder

Wednesday, October 29, 2008
Hello, I'm BP 1. Yesterday I was at my pdoc. One of the questions I have placed to her was if it was common in BP disorder to feel body pains like if I would have a flu but without the running nose or fever.. She said no and picked some exames she asked me to do. After a while reading the exames she said that the Pains I was feeling were for sure related to some kind of internal infection and not really with BP. I believe her as she has worked in london for years only with BP people. She has a great knowledge on BP disorders. Even so, it is not the first time that I hear from BP people that claim to have the same symptoms. I'm also a bit confused. Every morning when I go out of the bed I feel like beaten up. Let me know your findings, please. May be useful also for me. Thanks.
