Any thoughts on oxycodone as a medication option for bipolar?

Im 19 years old and i was diagnosed with Bipolar I when i was 17. I have been on alot of different drugs the most recent being wellbutrin and lamictal. Each new drug i tried i found it did something else to harm my body. Ive gained weight ive become more irritable, my moods go from calm to enraged in the blink of an eye, i have constant head splitting head aches that run from the back middle of my head all the way to the front that no pain killers ever seem to help what so ever. All around i am miserable. About two weeks ago a good friend of mine and i went to the pharmacy to pick up his perscription for oxycodone. He takes them for back pain. Now my therapist has told me about the opiod drugs and said they could be worth a shot and that many people have had success taking them but my doctors just refuse to give me a perscription for them. Until now. After going through doctors left and right i went back to my pediatrician. Someone who has known me my whole life. i told him absolutley everything and explained to him wat i was going through. i told him about what my therapist said and i explained to him that i researched it as well. Im going back next week to pic up my perscription but i was just curious as to whether or not there was any available information about this drug and my disorder. I havent been able to find anything on the internet and i dont know where else to turn. If you have any information at all it would be greatly apreciated.
