help for BP son in la jolla, ca

My son impulsively travelled from NJ to So Ca. I need help connecting him to at least a local MICA or dual diagnosis group. He was off meds I believe is back on but got a DUI and will have to attend AA meetings. Living with a 16 yr. old teenage boy with bipolar disorder

How long do episodes last?

My husband was diagnosed bipolar over a year ago. I know he has had it for most of our 25+ years of marriage. It seems that things are getting worse as he gets older. Is this common?
