Heather Reese, MS, RD has worked in the nutrition industry for eight years. She received a Bachelors degree in Communications with a minor in Journalism from McDaniel College (formerly Western Maryland College) and went on to work as a business reporter in Baltimore, Maryland. She then received a graduate degree in Nutrition and Health Promotion from Simmons College and completed her dietetic internship at Sibley Hospital in Washington, DC. Heather has worked as a clinical dietitian in several hospitals around the Washington, DC metropolitan area serving a variety of patient populations, including diabetic, renal, cardiac, elderly, and trauma patients. She is currently the Operations Manager for the Weight-control Information Network, a federal clearinghouse that provides free nutrition-related information to the general public.
Heather enjoys entertaining friends and family, watching sports, and working out. She is also an avid knitter.
