Does Seroquel Make You Gain Weight

A study of more than 400 Alzheimer's patients found that newer antipsychotic drugs caused weight gain and lowered good cholesterol in patients. The drugs, Zyprexa and Seroquel, both caused weight gain in women, while Zyprexa also appeared to lower the level of good cholesterol. And the longer patients took the medications, the more likely they were to gain weight.
