An analysis of two studies has found that patients with bipolar disorder who receive long-term treatment with Seroquel and a mood stabilizer are significantly less likely to have a mood event than patients who take a mood stabilizer alone. Researchrs found that the Seroquel combination treatment reduced bipolar I disorder patients' risk of having a mixed, manic, or depressive episode by 70 percent.
