Women with bipolar disorder who stop taking medications that
control the condition before or shortly after becoming pregnant are
much more likely to suffer a recurrence of the disorder, a new
study suggests. In the study, 85 percent of women who stopped
mood-stabilizing meds prior to their pregnancy or in the first
