Bipolar teen commits suicide in front of Webcam

The family of a Florida teenager who committed suicide online says they believe "one phone call" by viewers who watched the event could have saved his life. Abraham Biggs, who suffered from bipolar disorder, swallowed an overdose of prescription medications after announcing his intention to commit suicide on a bodybuilding Web site. He then posted a link to a live video streaming site and trained a camera on himself in bed. Investigators say the live video was broadcast on the Internet for 12 hours as online gawkers watched, many laughing, joking, and encouraging the teen to end his life.
