Expert: New psychiatric drugs have no 'track record'

Dr. Richard A. Friedman talks about the tendency for patients with psychiatric conditions such as bipolar disorder to be prescribed the newest medications, rather than ones that have been shown to work. According to Friedman, new psychotropic drugs have a certain allure among medical professionals.
