Dr. Atul Gawande -- What Better Means for Patients, Families and Caregivers

Atul Gawande's first book Complications was published in 2002 while Dr. Gawande was training to be a general surgeon at Harvard Medical School. It became a New York Times best seller and helped to introduce and explore the idea of the fallible doctor. His second book, Better, was published in April 2007 and was recently named a top-10 book by Amazon.com.
