Creating the stamp has propelled you toward breast cancer advocacy. What role do you play in raising breast cancer awareness these days?
I’m the voice of the stamp. I’m often asked to speak about breast cancer. And I’m very proud of it. I get validated all the time, for raising awareness about breast cancer, and for helping to raise money for research. My mission in life is to speak about breast cancer. For so many women, their fear of breast cancer is debilitating, and they avoid going for mammograms. They’d rather stick their heads in the sand. My mission is to send women to get mammograms and to overcome their fear. I’m touching people.
