We also know that AA women don't breast feed their infants as often. I know that in my 12 years as a labor and delivery RN, that was one of the areas our lactation consultants and our outreach groups were working on. Really trying to get more women and especially more AA women to breast feed. Now, if we could pinpoint which of these things played the main role we would be on top of the world wouldn't we?
