Sue is the strongest person I have ever met and we've been married for 38+ years. In 2005, she was diagnosed with a DCIS in the right breast. So, we agreed that surgery would take care of it and she would be cancer free. She was... until just before Christmas of this year, a swollen, sore plac...

With 38 years of marriage, you obviously are "there" for each other, through good times and bad, sickness and health... You'll fight this together. Treatment today is so much better than it used to be; let's hope and pray the chemo does the trick. Please stay connected - this site has been a godsend for so many of us. My best wishes to both of you- PJH

    Dave,

I feel for you, and you and I are are very lucky to be with someone for so many years. My wife is also Sue, and she was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2007. I like you have been very fotunate to have been with my wife for 31 years, and 25 married.  She has gone through three Chemotherapy treatment's, and one to go before surgery. She is 46 with our three biological children, age's 18,14, and a 10 Year old daughter. I'm very afraid at this point. I will say that every story I have heard about a women with breast cancer is they had it so many years ago, and they are fine. I hope this hold's true. The only women I heard about that didn't make it were in denial, and did nothing about it.

Dave I will prey for your wife as I will for mine, and let her strength overcome this illness.

    God Bless you both,

    Brian
