As someone whose family has been touched by breast cancer - as well as another deadly cancer that afflicts women, ovarian cancer - I dream of the day we find a cure, the day we know we'll never see another woman die from this disease. Of course, I'm not alone. We all want to see more money going toward the research that can make this happen. We want to feel like our government cares about every woman who has ever been claimed by breast cancer, survived it, or will battle with it in the future.
That's why it's imperitave that we know the facts before voting in the upcoming U.S. presidential election. Do you know where your candidate stands on women's issues like breast cancer, domestic violence and fair pay? Did you know that John McCain voted AGAINST breast cancer research? During the last presidential debate, we all saw the disregard he seemed to have for women's health. That disregard extends to how he votes in Congress, which tells us a lot about the support we could expect to receive if he became President.
Do us all a favor and check out both candidates' voting records on women's issues at FeministsforObama.org. Do it for your mom, your sister, your daughter, your friend. Do it for you. You deserve to know the facts.

Why not take a look at the WHOLE bill that John McCain voted against? He at least has the courage to vote his conscience instead of voting present as Obama did frequently. He will do and say anything to get elected. I am a breast cancer survivor and I object to you politicizing the issue.
