Hi all,

Update, the first round went fine, the second round part A CAF is making me tired...But Im hanging in there. My kids are used to my new spikee look, I had my head shaved and then it went patchy.

Somedays, I just dont look in the mirroe, but my kids keep me going. They kiss me all the time. Who needs meds??? Sometimes, I wonder. But Ill keep chugging those C-pills and injections of A and 5FU...and water...

I hope I can do this, and do it well.HUGS to all...Heart

Hi Tina,

I know you can do this and you don't even have to do it well, you just have to do it.  I finished 4 rounds of Chemo (AC) on August 1st.  My hair is coming back and I feel I have my pre-cancer energy level back.  Accept all the love you can in any form it comes in but it's true that kid kisses will heal you!  Right here with you sister...

I agree - you can do this! Your children sound incredible - you are very blessed.

Keep us posted on how you're doing. Best of luck!

My bald head got very dry, so that when the hair started growing back, there were deposits of this white, waxy stuff at the root.  It was weird, and in various places all over my head.  It took a long time to clear.  My hairdresser's suggestion was to get a bottle of almond oil at a vitamin store.  I did, and rubbed it into my head at night.  That stuff is remarkable, and I wished I had known about it at the start of chemo.  Good luck to you!  Jena
