Hi all,
It has been a while since my last update. Treatment is done, Tamoxifen everyday... and back to a pretty good routine. Trying to lose some extra weight gained but thats not happening so quick... But I went for a haircut (the second one) this time, and, well it was very nice to...

Thursday, November 06, 2008 at 08:23 PMCongrats on making it through a very tough year. I'm sure it must feel strange not heading to treatments all the time. I'm 5 weeks into a 6 month chemo and from here, it seems like a long road ahead. I know it will be gone before I know it... I want to hurry time along, but still enjoy the little things in life that are much more precious than they used to be. My daughters are grown, but I have a houseful to take care of... husband, 93 year old mother, 2 dogs, 6 cats and two birds. I work two days a week and have a 2 year old grandson to spoil, so there's a lot to get better for! It's the unexpected bumps in the road that create a challenge and make us come out stronger and better. Be well and let those kids of yours help keep you strong! Think PINK!

Hi Tina,
Good to hear from you. It sounds like you're doing well. Your post is short but FULL of meaning -- you've certainly come a long way. Life being "simpler" yet "fun" is a wonderful way to look at it. And a second haircut and back to "looking like you" is very exciting! How sweet your daughter is.
By all means, yes -- we would be honored to "help you hope." Count on it.
Keep us posted, OK? Best of luck to you.
Sincerely,
Maria
