Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 01:22 PMI too have Stage 4 breast cancer. I was diagnosed 2 years ago and am still kicking cancers butt with everything available. Do not give up. There are many women who have written to me to say they are living 5 yrs. later, 7 years later , 11 years later. No it is not you will live another 30 yrs ......but only God knows why we have this awlful cancer with a bad outcome. Believe me I am ver mad at God a lot of days too. Some how you have to come to terms with what you have (it took me 6 months) and celebrate each day, and fit cancer all the way. Clinical tests, legistaion, new drugs anything.....but I think importantly a positive outlook. This very dark hole you are on will become lighter each day until you are out of it. Keep believing there is hope. That's what I do every day I give my daughter a kiss. You are in our prayers.....good luck

I'm sorry - I hope the docs find some effective treatment for her. Many women are living with metastatic breast cancer; we hope your wife will join their ranks. Good luck to both of you - PJH
