The Adoption Option After Breast Cancer

From the very beginning of this breast cancer journey, my husband and I always knew that adoption was a possibility we were very much open to. After our attempt at surrogacy failed, it was now time to start looking into this option. But, the more we looked, the more discouraged we became.  ...

Traci, your story posts have been not only a story about breast cancer and the issues is causes in our lives, but it is also one about the necessity of being positive and pushing toward our life goals. i applaude your attempt at surrogacy. but you and your husband have kept alive the dream of having a child of your own, and look at where you are now. with each child you are blessed with along this road you are getting closer to realizing your vision of a family will come true. i believe we make our lives happen in many ways with hopes, dreams, positive thinking and endurance. contratulations on your new little angel. mimi

Mimi,  Thank you so much.  We believe God will bless us with whichever child was meant to stay with us :-)  We are standing in Faith that Leah is the one but we know our plans aren't always His.

you just keep standing in Gods light. remember he never gives us more than we can bear and he know us better than we know ourselves. He has never let me down. and you can be sure he will not fail you. his gifts come in the most unexpected ways sometimes. and i am constantly amazed. keep the faith and enjoy each day. mimi
