I was diagnosed with IDC in July 2006, hard to believe its been a year. I had a right mascetomy in August and a skin expander put in.  I finally started cemo the end of November (after having problems with the port) and ended cemo the end of February.  Needless to say the holidays were sort of a blur.  I was scheduled for 6 treatments, 1 every 3 weeks, but I stopped my treatments after 4.  I am still recovering from the affects of cemo 5 months later, my hair has returned, but the muscle and body aches still haunt me, but I do see improvement.  I had my breast reconstruction May 15th and it is amazing how much having "even" breasts can improve your confidence.  I want to be able to help others through this journey, I know I got so much help and support but at times I still felt so lonely because no one I knew had IDC.  And lets face it cemo is a lonely thing to go through. So anyway I can help let me know. Hugs to all!
