Just Diagnosed with Cancer? Chat with Experts

a lump in the road

By sharona Thursday, October 25, 2007
i had my lump and three lymph nodes out 10/23 I'm still waiting to here what the pathology will tell. it's been almost two months since i found the lump i called my doctor that day and had to wait a week and a half just for her to say i was right then they booked me for a mammogram and ultra sound two weeks out i changed it my self and advance up one week then a week to see a surgeon a week to get full report and two more weeks to meet with a oncologist and get my first radiation treatment i need an MRI that's not booked yet. I thought early detection would get me fast treatment but it feels more like they fit me in for the next available and we all no how that looks. My cancer is right under my arm and all i could think its so close to my lymph node doesn't anyone see that. all i can hope now is hope and pray.
