Haven't sent out a post in a while. I had my 4th treatment on Wednesday and it went well. Eah treatment is different. This one gave me a little more nausea feeling and tireness but other than that, I am doing fine. My nurse told me to buy vegetable laxative to take with my stool softners and they are helping. I have had one problem since last week, swelling in my right hand and left foot. The doctor isn't sure if the lymphdemia is coming on or if its from the taxomel. Well just wanted to let you know know how I was doing.

Mary, good to hear from you again. I'm glad you're not having TOO hard a time with this. Think back to treatment #1, how apprehensive you were - and here you are, already on treatment #4! Good luck with the remaining ones - I hope you continue to feel relatively well. PJH

You all have been a great help and inspiration in helping me to deal with this and to know a little of what to expect with eah treatment. I share this webpage with caner patients that I meet because it has helped me out and I will continue to read it and ask questions and read other peoples blogs.
