You will get through it and feel so much better soon.

Friday, September 11, 2009 at 03:23 PMThanks for the encouraging words. I know this too will past but it is making me think about my last treatment which will be on 23 Sept and I am hoping that it will not be as bad or hard as this 5th one will be but I do know that it will be my last one and I thank God for that. I appreciate all the prayers and emails from the blogg and I also thank God for you all. I will keep in contact, again thanks. My two girls are here with me and they have been my backbone during this last week and they have been taking great care of me. Thanks again.
Mary

If you don't feel like eating that's OK (for a day or two), but you need to make yourself continue with the fluids. They're important. Someone suggested adding just a little bit of fruit juice to make water more palatable and that worked for me. I liked about a quarter cup of grape juice to a cup of water best.
You're almost through with chemo, so hang in there. It's good that even though you are feeling miserable now, you have the perspective to remember that you'll feel better in a few days. That's just the way chemo is. You have shown remarkable strength over the course of your treatment. You'll get through this last phase.
