Good day to all.  It has been a few weeks since I posted a blog but I am feeling better after I received my last treatment on 23 Sept.  Thank God.  Trying to get my energy back and taking one day at a time.  The doctor started me on Taxmofin about a week ago.  I had the hot flashes under control but after I received a Herceptin treatment last week, the hot flashes came back within hours.  I am taking 75mg of Efforex but the pills are not working now.  Waiting on my doctor to see if she will up the meds or try something different.  Any advice?

When I first started Femara to surpress my hormones, I had a lot of hot flashes.  I have taken 800IU of vitamin E.  It has worked great - I have very few any more, and the ones I do have are only mild ones.

Try it - it may work for you too!

God bless you in your healing!

Hello Carolyn,

Thanks for the information, I will try it and see if it works better than the Efferex that I take daily.
