I am a 26 yr.old mother of 3 wonderful children, 8,6 and 20months. I just found out today I have Breast Cancer. About 2weeks ago I found a lump while in the shower. Last Thursday I went in for a Mammogram and Ultersound. They of course saw the 1 I felt in my right breast and they found 2 smaller lumps in my left. So they had me come in yesterday for a biopsy and then 1 day later today April 15th they told me all 3 lumps showed cancer. So I guess I will learn more about my cancer when I go in for the meeting with the Dr. tomorrow.
I failed to mention this wasn't much of a shock to me because my mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at age 34. So once they told me to come back for the biopsy I knew deep down it was Cancer. This will probably 1 of the hardest things I will ever go through and my mother just passed away in a fire, Feb.20, 2008. The 1 person I knew who over came such a hard thing to go through is not here with me when I need her most in my life.
