I have been amazed at how green the grass is, and how loud the birds chirp and how much noise the squirrels in our back yard tree make when they are cracking open the kernels of corn we gently place there for them to enjoy....these are things that I have learned to notice more lately.
I have been on this journey of Breast Cancer since April and have endured loosing my hair, but not my fight! Seeing my husband look at me with more than curiosity, but compassion and my grandchildren laugh at the "fuzz" that has graced my bald head where once my gray hair layed, and they said I am still grandma to them!!
I have learned that I have to be grateful for these times in the valley, that is where I grow! I am not taking anything for granit anymore! If it's too hot outside, I don't gripe, I go crank up the air and stay inside and bake something. I love life and I want to treasure every moment and not waste it on the small stuff!!
That is it for now! That sure felt good! Hope someone can gleen from this.
