About Me

I'm a woman who is in my 30s, no kids, and overweight. As a result, I am also at a higher risk of breast cancer. My aunt recently found a lump, which turn out to be fibroid in nature, but it gave me a scare.

I recently registered for the Breast Cancer 3 Day Walk. Partly to help raise money for those currently touched by cancer, partly to face my own physical challenges and risk of the disease.

I will be participating in the Philadelphia event, which is held in October. I need to raise a minimum of $2200 in order to participate and I hope to use the internet as a tool in the fundraising process.

I have also created a blog in which I track my journey to the 3 Day. Training, challenges, etc. I am attempting to generate publicity for this blog in the hopes to get my viewership up (and possibly create some word-of-mouth donations).
