Calling All Fashionista*Activistas!

SPECIALLY FORMULATED FOR FASHIONISTA* ACTIVISTAS, the limited edition Cancer Vixen - C.O. Bigelow Collection is out now, and $250,000 has already been donated to the BREAST CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION - THANK YOU C.O. BIGELOW!

Now, here's the inside scoop on how it happened... and the story behind the Cancer Vixen Survival Kit.

I was approached by my bff, West Village Icon Ian Ginsberg, 3rd Generation proprietor of C.O. BIGELOW apothecary to do a limited edition product line.

Here's Ian and me on the side panel of the box:

Ian's an awesome guy, and man, is he generous! Ian guaranteed us the $250,000 regardless of how many survival kits are sold. Mwah. He truly is a Fashionisto*Activisto!

Ian's donation of $250,000 helps the BCRF achieve their mission of prevention and a cure in our lifetime. This grant made possible with his support, goes to: Dr. Sofia Merajver, of the University of Michigan. Dr. Merajver's research centers on discovering new and more effective treatments for inflammatory breast cancer, a highly aggressive form of the disease, and is looking at not only women in the US but also in Egypt, Algiers, Morocco, and Tunisia.

Ian asked me to "vixenize" the classic C.O. Bigelow products, and create the packaging.

Well, I never met a surface I didn't want to draw all over!

By the way, the phrase "Fashionista*Activista" was created for me by Producer Extraordinaire, the genius Sarah Park!

That concept inspired the back of the box, too:

And I had to do something shoes, after all, they are my trademark.
