Interested in getting an Ion Foot Detox treatment. Heard this was an excellent way of detoxing after cancer treatments. Any referrals would be greatly appreciated. I live in the Danforth area.

Thank you,

Holly

    Hi Holly,

Thanks for writing. I'd be curious to learn more about why you're looking specifically for an ion foot detox treatment and what resources you think would help other women to evaluate such treatments.

Particularly because of the direct-to-consumer advertising blitz many TV viewers have gotten from the marketers behind Kinoki foot pads, there have been several media investigations about foot detox treatments and whether they are a waste of money. Here's one worth reading from ABC News's John Stossel. Ridding Yourself of Toxins, Or Money?

Here's a review of ion foot detox baths from a spa guide.

I'd appreciate starting a conversation about this. If you're interested in the foot detox bath, other savvy survivors must be, too. Please help me balance out these perspectives, as I have been finding more negative reviews than positive.

    Thanks,

    Sarah
