Makala, thank you for sharing this happy news with us!  I'm thrilled to hear that she is healthy and full term.  Any baby is cause for celebration, but what a triumph over illness to bring this new life into the world.  When you feel up to it, let us know her name, and maybe even post a picture of your treasure.

Dear Makala, If there is one life experience I wouldn't have missed, it's being a parent.  Your bravery in going against recommendations will be rewarded a thousand times over.  You must be on top of the world!  From the bottom of the world (New Zealand) - Andrea

Hello MD, my name is Mary Davis, a 40 year old mother of 3, been in the navy for 21 years and I was diagonised with breast cancer a coupleof weeks ago.  I read allof your blogs and they have been very encouraging.  You are a brave and blessed woman and I pray that God will gvie me the strength that you have to make it through what I have to go through.  I will have to have my right breast removed and after reading a lot of information it is scaring me but if you went through this pregnant and had a healthy baby, I know that all is possible for those who believe in God.  Godd bless you and your family.

Thank you for your wonderful words.  Please know that the strength that I have everyday is only by HIS grace.  God has allowed me to still be a good mother to my children even through this illness.  You can handle it! I know that the first few weeks are confusing and scary but know that you will make it.  I really don't worry about much anymore because I have seen for myself what God can bring you to and bring you through!

    I'll be praying for you!

Wow I thought I was the only one!  I've been married for 2 months and found out on my one month anniversary that I had breast cancer, then 2 days later I found out I was pregnant.  I just had surgery 2 weeks ago and I'm 7 weeks pregnant and looking at chemo in 5 weeks.  Your story was so uplifting!  Thank you for sharing
