Get a Good Night Sleep

By Haralee Thursday, October 16, 2008

After I was into breast cancer treatments, I was thrown into menopause. So involved with this life threatening  disease, I was oblivious of the side effects of menopause until they hit me all at once. The night sweats were the worst. I was not getting any sleep, so I felt even worse and my diminished coping skills were compromised even more. Being an avid skiier and hiker, I knew wicking clothes were available but could not find any to sleep. I cut up some old bike shorts, and sewed a night gown. It worked! I found some light weight wicking fabric and started my company, making "cool garments for hot women". Now 6 years later, I am breast cancer free and helping other women get a good night sleep. www.haralee.comMy Business. I call myself a menopausal entrepreneur.

Hello Haralee,

You're a GENIUS! I bet your "wicked" jammies are a huge hit. Thanks for letting us know about them, and be sure to keep us posted on new products and crafty ideas.

Also, feel free to post on our Menopause site, too: MyMenopauseConnection.com. Your help would be very welcome there as well!

Thanks again.

Best regards,

Maria
