Crickett's Answer To Cancer is a wonderful non-profit organization to honor Crickett Julius who lost her battle to breast cancer in 2006, at age 39.  Her family provides wigs and mastectomy products to those who are going through breast cancer and chemo therapy, at no charge. They are wondefully compassionate and helpful. You choose you own wig (within reason as far as cost goes)!

Hello Carole, I am having a bilateral mastectomy Thurs Aug 13th and am having trouble finding a bra or camisole that will accomodate the drainage tubes.  Can you help?

My hospital provided me with those upon discharge.  Cricketts Answer should be able to help you perhaps as well.  TLCCatalog carries them too. Another little trick somebody taught me was to get a lanyard or shoes lace tied at the ends and put that around your neck when showering after your surgery.  Safety pin the tabs of the drainage bulbs to the lanyard or shoe string so they don't hand down while you shower or bathe.

My surgery was 8 months sgo (unilateral mastectomy) and my expander/implant exchange was 3 weeks ago. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions! Best of luck to you in everything!

How can I contact the company?  My search engine keeps bringing me back to this same website.  Thanks, Lisa.

Hi Christine,  I'm sorry for the delay but am just now seeing this post.  I cannot possibly sign in regularly to all the forums where our information is posted, so we prefer that clients contact us through our own website.  www.crickettsanswerforcancer.org  Hope to hear from you again if you are still in need.  Carole

Hi Koryn,

Long overdue but thanks for your response.  I got through the surgery and those horrible drainage tubes, lol.

Now working on getting through radiation and the implant surgery.

Fondly,

Cris
