It's probably not the politically correct thing for me to say, but I too had multi-focal sites. I said "Chop it off!"
I opted for a mastectomy and chemo instead of double lumpectomy, radition. In fact, with dirty margins I"m surprised they even attempted to conserve the breast.
As for the other side, I too had a lump over there. The core biopsy revealed no evidence of malignancy. So, it doesn't necessarily transfer.
Also, the biopsy I had under anesthesia left far less bruising than did the core needle biopsy. Still bruised~!
Keep us posted. Let us know what you decide and how it goes.

"Chop it off" thats what i should have been told. Well im seeing a new surgeon next week. Referal for plastics is in the works.Poteet you have a great sence of humor keep it up cause thats what we have to do laugh at it and kick its butt. Best to ya

Seen the new surgen .What a difference.He was appaled at what was done to me. I see plastic next week.They say before the end of the year they will be chopped off,& reconstruction will start,If there is any new cancer hell go back and get some noads Finally someone listened..Its been 2yrs and I see a little light. So to everyone take matters in your hands.Talk to everyone & find your path there is a light.out there

Kim- glad you found a new team to help you out. It took a few tries but I finally got someone my cancer center who listens to me as well. It made all the difference.
