Congratulations on making to the other side of breast cancer. It feels great! I can't remember how many months after all the reconstructive surgeries that it took me to quit feeling my breasts all the time. I don't know why I did it all the time I just know I did. I know everyone deals with the words "you have breast cancer" differently but I kept my eye on the prize. For me the prize was getiing the reconstruction over with and being able to go to the store and buy clothes off the rack & they fit me. I was also glad that I DON'T HAVE TO WEAR A BRA! I always hated bra's even before breast cancer. I asked the plastic surgeon to please make them perky. Little did I know how long & how many surgeries that would take but every step of the way all I could think about is perky breasts & no bra's. Maybe that seems shallow but it gave me something to look forward to. I Just wanted to feel as close to normal as possible. I do feel normal & I feel great!
Congratulations on your book I have watched that show, that gal tells it like it is. I like that.
