    Hello Cressida,

Great to hear from you again. It sounds like you're making your way through treatment as best you can, and that's all that's expected of you. Your "single-minded devotion" of focusing on taking care of YOU is perfect -- you're a smart woman.

Be sure to write again soon and keep us posted on your progress. We're always here for you.

    Best of luck,

    Maria

Keep up the great work! I know you're over the hump now... I think taxol should be "eaiser" than AC, aside from the tingling hands/feet, which I heard can be bothersome. Really, excellent job staying positive - it's not always easy (it's not usually easy - it's never easy?), but it's beneficient for sure. Take care- PJH

I can never cease to be grateful to this site. Thanks ever so much for these wonderful words of encouragement. Now I can face the remaining three taxol chemos with a calmer mind. When I was taking my fourth and last dose of AC,I asked the attending nurse what taxol would be like to which she replied that if I'd taken AC pretty well,I'd surely do better on taxol. After my first dose I felt only a slight tingling in my fingers and hardly any joint pain.I felt less nauseous too and have a better appetite.I guess with so much encouragement,I'll go through the remaining three taxol chemos more easily.Big Smile

To you and all the wonderful people on this site I'd like to send this quote..."When I find myself fading, I close my eyes and realize my friends are my energy."

Now I have another beautiful quote to add to my notebook.Thank you!

Oh yes!My sister came over from UK,and among other gifts, brought two beautiful pink ribbon brooches for me.I hope to be the proud wearer of these when I've recovered fully.Of course,I shall remember to wear one brooch at a time.Big Grin
