So it's finally over with my last chemo on April 3.My radiotherapy starts in first week of May & they'll be doing my chest wall & my axillary lyymphnodes. My previous doc had removed only 7 nodes & they were all positive, thus the treatment to my lymphnodes. The doc says I have a 50 % chance of developing lymphedema post radiotherapy, but I'll have to take things as they come.Too bad I didn't come directly to this hospital so that at least I could have a clearance as far as my lymphnodes were concerned. But I guess 7 positive nodes are sufficient reason to apply the radiotherapy there.Anybody had the experience?Ps.share.

Hi Cressida,
Good to hear from you again. Thanks for the update on your treatment progress. I like your attitude of taking things "as they come" -- good for you. That's a great way to approach life in general!
Best of luck with radiation next month. Be sure to write again and keep us posted on how you're doing.
Sincerely,
Maria
