About Me

I am a two-time breast cancer survivor with lymphedema who wrote a book ("Mourning Has Broken: Reflections on Surviving Cancer" (Xulon Press 2008)) about my survivor journey and the hope I found through it all. It is endorsed by the Executive Director of the National Lymphedema Network and an M.D. whose wife has breast cancer and lymphedema. I worked for Genentech, Inc., maker of Herceptin, for over twenty years as a patent attorney. I have three wonderful sons and a loving husband.
