Even Doctors Cry

I am a facial plastic surgeon and a cancer survivor of Non Hodgkins Lymphoma.

I took care of my wife after she developed metastatic breast cancer and became a

full-time caregiver, quitting my practice which was in Beverly Hills 90210. She

passed away over 3 years ago after the worst possible medical care imaginable.

I have written a book, Even Doctors Cry, which is being published this spring.

I hope it helps people everywhere. I have certainly learned about a lot of the

pitfalls to avoid and be wary of.

Hello, Alvin. Welcome to our community. I'm glad you've found us.

Thank you for letting us know about your book - it's sounds to be an important read. There's much to learn from the personal side of medical care - what healthcare providers feel and how they, too, are affected by all they see and hear and struggle with right along side their patients.

I'm sorry to hear that you lost your wife to breast cancer. How great that you adjusted your life to support and care for her as you did.

There are many men like you in our community. I hope you find it helpful to connect with them through all they've shared and the support they offer.

Write again soon. I bet there's much more to learn from you.

Best,

Maria
