The truth is, quality care, care that takes into account mind and body,  never ends.  A relatively unrecognized way for breast cancer survivors to address both physical and psychosocial needs is to join a BCS dragon boat team.  The ancient Chinese sport of dragon boat racing is an enjoyable way to regain and increase upper body strength while awakening your inner dragon.  There are BCS teams in Europe, Asia, and the Pacific Rim. Canada has scores of BCS teams and in the USA at last count there are more than 15 teams with active websites: in Atlanta, Charleston (SC), Washington, DC, Boston, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Princeton, Miami, Fort Dodge, Buffalo, Burlington, Phoenix, Houston, Long Beach, Newport Beach, San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland (OR).
