About Me

I have just turned 36. When I first joined this site I was 34 and just diagnosed. I am now 36 and have had all the "good stuff"- double mastectomy, chemo, reconstruction. Wow, what a journey. I am not finished yet. Am just finishing off Herceptin. Two more doses to go. My outlook on cancer has certainly changed since that horrible rainy day when the doc told me it was cancer. No walk in the park, but we deal with it and it is not always a death sentence. Maybe we will be one of the lucky ones, and maybe we wont. But either way we wont know until we get there and that is the bit we need to pay attention to-Getting there. And dont waste it.ENJOY
