Well, as usual PJ has it right.  We need help.  We can be strong.  We can be diligent with our own care, but the bottom line is we had cancer and our lives will be forever changed.  There's no returning to pre-cancer, pre-mastectomy, pre-chemo.  We will forever be survivor...

    Poteet - you said it, girl... "I'm doing great!" is SO much easier (for everyone) than saying "Actually, I feel crummy and I'm tired of feeling crummy." This is why I love this site - we can say it to one another with no guilt, no stress, no "I don't want them to worry about me" guilt at all. Because we have that special bond - we've been there, we know what it's like, and we have a deep empathy for one another, something that precludes guilt, and simply strengthens the bond... I wish you fewer hot flashes, less pain, less tingling, and the ability to say "I'm FEELING great" and really mean it! - XXX PJ
