Check.   Bandages, drain, clips removed a week later. Check.   Follow-up visit with the doctor, only to be told one of the two nodes they removed is positive. Crap.   Back into surgery this past Tuesday, October 20, to have more nodes removed for analysis. Check.   And now....I wait. I'm new here...I was diagnosed with breast cancer on August 19, 2009. I am the tenth cancer in my family, and so I opted for a double mastectomy rather than a lumpectomy. I had done the genetic screening three years ago and they told me I had none of the genetic markers.   My surgery was September 15th. They removed two sentinel nodes and told me both were negative!
