      <title>And Now I Wait</title>
      <description>So I've had the double mastectomy - September 15th, 2009. Check.
&amp;nbsp;
Bandages, drain, clips removed a week later. Check.
&amp;nbsp;
Follow-up visit with the doctor, only to be told one of the two nodes they removed is positive. Crap.
&amp;nbsp;
Back into surgery this past Tuesday, October 20, to have more nodes removed for analysis. Check.
&amp;nbsp;
And now....I wait. Up to one month to hear if they're mostly negative, mostly positive,...</description>

      <description>Hello Everyone! I'm new here...I was diagnosed with breast cancer on August 19, 2009. I am the tenth cancer in my family, and so I opted for a double mastectomy rather than a lumpectomy. I had done the genetic screening three years ago and they told me I had none of the genetic markers.

My surgery was September 15th. They removed two sentinel nodes and told me both were negative! Great news!
