    Great to hear that the second biopsy was benign. My mom had the same operation and she too had an open gash/wound.  She said it was painful to move but more than that she was surprised that she was walking around with an open wound but wasn't bleeding.  The pain eventually faded.  Give it time.  Hope you have a speedy recovery.

    Yeah.., I can't believe it, it looks like someone stabbed me. It looks like blood should just be pouring out of there. That is why the cauterize it from the inside, so it won't do that. I am very surprised I dont have even one stich to help it stay together and close up...

     

    But I guess this is just a scaffolding of pain and I am on the next rung, before my lumpectomy. How is your mom now? Hope all is well with you and yours.
