About Me

I'm a media strategist, wife of a filmmaker, and mom of a 3 year old boy. I had just turned 40 and thought life was just beginning when I discovered a lump that turned out to be breast cancer, with two nodes positive and her2 positive as well. I reacted like Rambo, wanting to obliterate every cancer cell in my system through mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation and herceptin, only to later realize that cancer is small and sneaky and not easily outgunned. This is going to be a lifetime challenge. It's been a year since my diagnosis, so far so good. But yeah-- life is certainly just beginning!
