I have 4 treatments left in my Taxol torture after yesterdays infusion. Yayyyyyy. I can't even tell you how happy I am to be done with this crap after a year of treatment now. I really hope this is it... that nothing else has to happen to me.

My blood counts are getting looooow. My white count is great though, its up at around 5.6 all the time. It doesn't fluctuate very much. My RBC Hemoglobin and Platelets are flagged as low. They are in the 2's.... if they go below one I have to stop treatment until I start producing more blood. Or get a transfusion. Yipes! Do not want. Any suggestions on making more bloods? I can't take iron. I just want to get to the end of this crap without delay.... and leave 2009 (the worst year of my life) behind me forever.

The hair. I know I complain about not having any. So I got bored today at work and gave myself some celebrity/movie hair. Enjoy!

I hope you're all doing wonderfully.

Uh the main part of this post was to whine about how fat I've gotten since my Taxol treatments. I retain water like a reservoir and the steroids make me want to eat EVERYTHING. Hence I have gained 15 lbs in the 3 months I've been on this. According to the magic of google, my BMI results say I am a 6th of a point from being OVERWEIGHT. This makes me want to cry. I have the assurances of my doctor that I will lose it when treatment is over. 15 pounds *&%#*^!^^#@^#*&$!!!!!!  It's hard to lose 5 pounds!

Waaaah!

Well, it'll certainly be easier to lose once you feel like moving around and exercising again, right? Now, you're just TOO tired, for obvious reasons. And, drugs DO make you gain weight. I'm betting it'll come off easier than you think.

I'm gla dyou were bored at work today - it translated into a good laugh for me and, I'm sure, a whole lotta other women needing a smile. Thanks, Tracey - and namaste. PJ

Strangely I have TONS of energy on chemotherapy. I have this theory that my immune system is so taxed beating up angiosarcoma that when it gets a little help my energy just skyrockets. I AM exercising and I am eating really well. 15 pounds!!!! *seethes*

You  are beautiful! Do one with Elvira hair! Or Jessica Simpson!

YOu are doing so great, and you're working too? Just a super-diva! and you are not a fatty! although I am, i have succumbed to all my worrying by eating pastries on couch. That is what I do...since I am loopy on drugs, and nauseated, and stuck because I cant drive! so I have been eating!

one thing...you can try to eat some meat?...i know you're veggie...but desperate times call for a steak from whole foods! OR you can get some of the flaxseed meal from TJ's, it has lots of iron in it!!! but natural-like. And drink emergen-C packets too. I like "Tropical" flavor!

Love anf Big Hugs going your way!

I am sorry to hear about the drugs, weight gain, hair loss, etc.  And, you are still working through all of this too?  WOW!  I  just wanted to let you know that I appreciate the laugh and love what you did with "the hair".  I am a photographer and love to play with photoshop as well, so can definitely appreciate the fun work that you did.  I think that the 5th Element is my favorite. ;)
