Ongoing FEC treatment  by mimi cottington
i have had two of four FEC treatments and my only side effects are the fatigue and queasiness. i do not go in public places and i eat bland stuff right now it tastes better because of the metallic taste, which isn't that bad either. for 3 months i can endure it.

You go, Mimi! I'm so glad you're doing well. Great attitude, too - you can do it! Remember, if you start to feel anything else–e.g., sore mouth–be sure to let the docs/nurses know. They want to help you, and there's lots of stuff they can try. Good luck for the rest of your treatment- PJH

PJ, thank you so much for taking the time to give  me a thumbs up. just one little thing like that makes a difference. your fact sheet on FEC is great. i knew much of it but "people terminology" is easier to digest. and i suppose we have to know every possibility, but the truth is, with the right attitude and a good team of docs and support we can make it through treatment and be just fine. mimi cottington
