Thanks, PJ, for such a good overview of the latest in radiation schedules.  There are also some clinical trials investigating twice-a-day radiation for breast cancer, especially for aggressive breast cancers.  The purpose is not to shorten the schedule but to give cancer cells less time to rebound between blasts of radiation.

Thanks for the link, Phyllis - it's good to know there's contnuing research regarding radiation paired with drugs, especially for stage 4 survivors trying to beat back a stubborn recurrence... PJH
